Canmore Winter Carnival

Head to Kananaskis Country for two epic fun-filled weekends. Held on February 4&5 and February 11&12, the Canmore Winter Carnival is one of the best events for families in the Canadian Rockies. You’ll find everything from marshmallow roasting and a Sugar Shack, serving up sweet maple taffy, to action packed events suitable for every age group. In the Heat of the Night

Dress to impress for a romantic Valentine’s dinner at the Calgary Zoo. The annual In the Heat of the Night extravaganza is held in the beautiful ENMAX Conservatory. Tickets for the magical February 13 & 14th events are $100 per person for tables of two, and include a decadent meal, Mardi Gras photo booth and unique presentation about courtship in the animal kingdom.

Glow Downtown Winter Light Festival

The whole family is welcome at downtown Calgary’s inaugural winter light festival. This three-day event, held over the Family Day Weekend (February 17-20), kicks off the city’s yearlong Canada 150 celebrations that pay tribute to the 150th anniversary of Confederation. Winefest Calgary

Discover a wonderland of wine at Calgary’s annual Winefest on February 24 & 25th at the Stampede Park BMO Centre.
