Something Old, Something New: 125 Years of Wedding Fashion

To celebrate the Lougheed House’s 125th anniversary they are showcasing 125 years of Alberta wedding fashion. See how people walked down the aisle from the 1880's to modern times. You can check out these vintage gowns and learn about the rich history from June 8th to October 16th. The cost is $8.50 to view the collections brought in from the Red Deer Museum and the Royal Alberta Museum among others.

Street Piano Performances

Join the crowds around these amazing pianists during your lunch hour. The music can be heard from June 2nd to August 25th. Bring your lunch with you and sit back and enjoy in one of the provided seats in Eau Claire Market, Fifth Avenue Place and 3rd Street at 6th Avenue. YYC Lobsterfest

Is your Dad’s favourite dish lobster? Well then take part in this Father’s Day weekend feast at Market on Macleod, of course children are welcome! From June 18th to the 19th for $35.00 you receive one fresh lobster, a side dish and a bib. There will be a cash bar with beer and wine. All proceeds from the event support the Calgary Firefighers Burn Unit.
