BBQ on the Bow Festival, September 2-3, 2017

Calgary Pride Parade & Festival, September 3, 2017
Celebrate diversity and inclusivity at Calgary’s 27th Annual Pride Parade and Festival. The two-hour parade kicks off at noon and ends with a party in Prince’s Island Park. It’s a family-friendly cultural affair, complete with live music and children’s activities. And, when you’re feeling parched, wander over to the Village Brewery Beer Gardens for a cold beer or cocktail.

Calling all movie buffs – it’s time once again for the Calgary International Film Festival. This 12-day event will feature upwards of 200 films from around the world. In addition to screenings, you can attend gala events and special behind the screen presentations that connect fans with filmmakers. Purchase your tickets early, as it’s a hugely popular event.

Calgary Oktoberfest, September 22-23, 2017
Craft brews and lederhosen await you at Calgary Oktoberfest. Sample ales, lagers, spirits and ciders from local and international producers, including Jasper Brewing Co., Last Best Brewery and Distillery and Hofbrauhaus. Dance to traditional Oktoberfest music and munch on Bavarian fare. There’s also dancers, games and live entertainment at this two-night party held at the Upper Big Four Building in Stampede Park.
