Canmore Butterfly Spray Park, NW Calgary. Kids of all ages will have a blast at the Canmore Spray Park. Bring a picnic, hang out on the grassy lawn and watch your kiddos dance around on the splash pad. Shade is limited here, so be sure to bring an umbrella or a pop-up tent. Seasonal washrooms and drinking fountains are available.

Calgary Playground Review

Prairie Winds, NE Calgary. Set to reopen in mid-to-late July, the Prairie Winds Park redevelopment will include a large wading pool, lazy river and a splash park. In addition to the newly renovated waterpark, you’ll find a playscape with a zipline as well as picnic shelters, barbeque areas and even a tandoori oven.

Waterplay

Somerset Spray Park, SW Calgary. Make a day of it at Somerset Park. Your kids will love splashing around beneath the waterpark’s colourful spray features. When it’s time to dry off, they can run around on the grass and choose from three playgrounds to frolic on. There are also picnic tables and public washrooms here.


Somerset Water Park

Mahogany Beach Club, SE Calgary. If you’re lucky enough to call the community of Mahogany home, then you won’t have to go very far for water play. Run around on the splash pad, or take a swim in lake. You’ll also find a fabulous playground and a beach that’s perfect for picnicking and play.

Chinook Winds, Airdrie.Discover twist n’spill water toys, ground sprays, a toddler water table and more at the Chinook Winds Spray Park. With twelve picnic tables, public washrooms, and change rooms, and plenty of shady spots, it’s the ideal place on hot summer days.


Airdrie

Okotoks Spray Park.The Okotoks Spray Park reopened in mid-June. With twelve new spray features, you’ll now find play zones that appeal to a range of ages. A brand new washroom facility was also added. Splash around daily, between the hours of 10am and 7pm, from the Victoria Day long weekend through Labour Day.
